There are two different rules in Poker. High and low hands are determined by the cards in a hand. High hand is the one that has the highest card of the same suit. Low hand is the one that has the lowest card of the same suit. The odd chip goes to the player whose hand is higher by suit. This rule is used to divide the pot equally among the players. When two players tie for high and low hands, the pot shall be divided as equally as possible.<\/p>\n
Players make bets at different intervals. One player has the privilege of making the first bet and is also responsible for raising the chips in a later round. Each player must put chips in the pot equal to the contribution made by the player before them. This player is known as the active player. The player with the best hand wins the pot.
